Nouns Colombia is a community bringing nounish culture to Colombia — graphic art fairs, collaborative murals, IRL events, and an artist residency program funded by Nouns DAO. What happens here can happen anywhere.

In 2025, Nouns DAO approved Prop #840 — an artist residency for a creator in Colombia. The model: direct DAO funding, full creative freedom, and roots in the local cultural scene.

Much of what's shown here came out of community-driven rewarding dynamics — creation rounds, tips, flows, contests, and direct commissions across channels like nouns-draws, nouns-animators, NOC, Yellow, Pirates Bay, Higher, Noundry, Nouns Amigos, and many others. These are the spaces where my creative participation in the ecosystem began, and they're documented in more detail in the Chronicle below. Gran parte de lo que se muestra aquí surgió de dinámicas de recompensa impulsadas por la comunidad — rondas de creación, tips, flows, concursos y encargos directos en canales como nouns-draws, nouns-animators, NOC, Yellow, Pirates Bay, Higher, Noundry, Nouns Amigos, entre muchos otros. Esos fueron los espacios donde comenzó mi participación creativa en el ecosistema, documentada con más detalle en la Crónica.
Worth saying clearly: what I do today is more complex — collaborative work, events, proposals, and real accountability to others. The NOC animations were an early commitment that kept me present, but also one that became unsustainable as the rewarding dynamics that gave them meaning gradually disappeared from the Farcaster ecosystem. Vale decirlo con claridad: lo que hago hoy es más complejo — trabajo colaborativo, eventos, propuestas, y compromisos reales con otras personas. Las animaciones de NOC fueron un compromiso temprano que mantuvo mi presencia, pero también uno que se volvió insostenible cuando las dinámicas de recompensa que les daban sentido fueron desapareciendo del ecosistema de Farcaster.

Organized the Global Pizza Party at Terraza Albahaca, San Nicolás — the historic downtown neighborhood of Cali — in collaboration with Nouns Amigos (the Latin American SubDAO). That first direct collaboration sparked everything — started attending Nouns Amigos calls, diving deeper into the ecosystem, and discovering Farcaster.
Organicé la Global Pizza Party en Terraza Albahaca, San Nicolás — el barrio histórico del centro de Cali — en colaboración con Nouns Amigos (el SubDAO latinoamericano). Esa primera colaboración directa lo encendió todo — empecé a asistir a las calls de Nouns Amigos, a profundizar en el ecosistema y a descubrir Farcaster.
Discovered Farcaster and the dynamics of Nouns channels. Pixel art clicked immediately — Nouns was the perfect place to apply it and have it valued. Started contributing to the NOC (Noun O'Clock) channel: 100+ animations, self-titled "almost daily, barely animated pieces." Also participated in Nouns Rounds, Flows (sunsetted 2025), and IRL Nouns Town meetups.
Descubrí Farcaster y la dinámica de los canales de Nouns. El pixel art encajó de inmediato — Nouns era el lugar perfecto para aplicarlo y que fuera valorado. Empecé a aportar al canal NOC (Noun O'Clock): 100+ animaciones, autodenominadas "piezas casi diarias, apenas animadas." También participé en Nouns Rounds, Flows (extinto en 2025) y meetups IRL de Nouns Town.
Participated in Nouns Rounds — illustration and animation contests held on Farcaster — and joined a flow of IRL Nouns Town meetups. Also started getting active across subcommunities: Vrbs, Lil Nouns, Nouns Amigos, Nouncil, Yellow Collective, Based Nouns — creating art for each and voting in metagovernance experiments like Nouncil, ZeroWeight, and Lil Nouns. (Rounds and Flows are now sunseted.)

Submitted the first Nouns head to DAO governance — Abacus v1 (Prop #641). It didn't pass, but the experience set the path for 14 more proposals to follow and a relentless belief in the process.

Selected as one of the artists for the NOC Decentralized Content Creation program, led by sewerpipe.eth. The goal: create daily content for X (Twitter), keeping Noun O'Clock culture alive and visible beyond Farcaster — each day's Noun as inspiration, contributors supported directly. An additional objective: activate the NOC Guild's official X account, which had been inactive up to that point.

After multiple proposals and iterations, the Abacus Head (v2) is voted in and executed on July 5, 2025. Now part of the official Nouns collection — part of the infinite artwork forever on Ethereum. Every Noun generated with this head carries Nadiecito's pixel art in the protocol. ⌐◨-◨

Won a live head creation contest hosted by NOC Guild — held on Discord and Noundry Studio — competing in real time against other pixel artists to design a Noun head from scratch. A direct test of craft, speed, and nounish sensibility.

Participated as resident artist at the Nouns booth for 5 days. Created one pixel art piece live during one of the sessions, printed on a risograph machine on the spot. First time meeting the global Nouns community in person — many people known only online, finally face to face.

Primera vez encontrándome en persona con la comunidad global de Nouns — muchas personas conocidas solo en internet, por fin cara a cara.

On Nadiecito's birthday in December 2025, monografia.eth delegated their Nouns — a milestone that turns participation from artist to voter. Now actively participating in Nouns DAO governance alongside them.

Created artwork for two Nouns props tied to ETH Denver and ETH Boulder events — both were defeated, but the art was produced and had a presence at the events. Also created pieces for OnchainCreators during the same period.
